Folkdays Kissenbezug "Soleh" Upcycling on fair-trade organic cotton fromThe "Soleh" cushion cover was produced as part of the textile residencies in Southeast Asia and is thus a result of the cooperation between the Goethe Institut Southeast Asia and Folkdays. The cushion cover was designed by Berlin based textile designer Anne Hederer and crafted by the artisans of Batik Winotosastro in Indonesia. The highly intricate batik technique has been perfected in Indonesia for centuries. A pattern is applied to the cotton using
