Footnote: The Battalion was raised in the Kent and Westmoreland Counties of New Brunswick with mobilization headquarters at Moncton under the authority of G. O. 151, December 22, 1915. The Battalion sailed September 27, 1916 under the command of Lieutenant Colonel W. E. Forbes with a strength of 19 officers and 524 other ranks. In
