A superb private wartime photo album from the estate of a Heer Gebirgsjger who saw extensive service in Norway, Finland, and the Soviet Union, constructed of a card stock binding, the cover bearing a raised 1939 Iron Cross executed with a blackened and silvered finish, the spine bearing a silvered inscription of WEHRMACHT FOTOALBUM and perforated with four holes reinforced with magnetic metal grommets, with an original
