Mongolia, People's Republic. An Order Of Combat Valour, Type I (1945-1970) Auction chipping evident in the white(Baildaany er zorigiin odon ). Instituted in 1945. Three piece construction, in silver gilt with red, white, green, yellow and light blue enamels, type I with solid red star surmounting the central insignia, number engraved "1902" on the reverse, measuring 49. 8 mm (w) x 47. 8 mm (h), screwback, intact enamels, extremely fine. Footnote: The Order of Combat Valour was instituted on October 17, 1945 and is awarded for service to and in the armed forces.
