Supersprite - Color Mixing Format:CD it's great to see thisThough hes spent years out and about in Portland, Oregon, spinning live sets from his sampler, drum machines, moog and various other electronic devices, Color Mixing is SUPERSPRITEs first full length release. Frontman Howard Gillam works hazy melodies from dense sonic tones, fueled by mellow down tempo beats for a spaced out pop effect. Though sampler is his instrument of choice, samples dont come from prerecorded sources, rather from an arsenal of
