A Yugoslavian Army Air Service Pilot's Badge Auction from October 22A Yugoslavian Army Air Service Pilot's Badge Silver, hand engraved "1453" on the reverse, 51 mm x 68. 3 mm, dual screwbacks marked "BEOGRAD", good detail, light contact on the obverse, scratches on the reverse, better than very fine. Footnote: In 1922, The Royal Army Air Service introduced badges for flight crews. These badges were enamelled. Beginning in 1927, a new pattern of badge was used, made entirely of silver.
