Germany, Wehrmacht. A Silver Grade Wound Badge, with Case, by Klein & Quenzer certificate_of_authenticity and evidence of insignia replacement(Verwundetenabzeichen in Silber mit Etui). Constructed of silvered zink, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, with a central raised Stahlhelm overlaid by a mobile swastika, on top of crossed swords on a pebbled field, the reverse with an integral clip hinge and vertical pinback meeting an integral catch, maker marked with Prsidialkanzlei code 65 for Klein & Quenzer, Idar Oberstein, measuring
