Constructed of gilded zinc, the obverse features a German national eagle perched on top of a stylized banner bearing the raised inscription of DR. FRITZ TODT, in turn set above a Deutsche Arbeitsfront (DAF) insignia in the form of a raised mobile swastika within a cogwheel.
