Constructed of glazed white porcelain, consisting of a low set hexagon trimmed along the rim with a hand painted red, white, and black Imperial tri colour, topped by a matching lid of identical construction, bearing a hand painted 1914 Iron Cross situated within a circular blue oak leaf wreath, with an scalloped base evenly executed for sturdy display, the base of both the jar and lid maker marked with the logo of Porzellanfabrik
