This is an extremely well preserved Second War period armband worn by a member of the Norwegian Legion of the Waffen SS, constructed of multi coloured cotton twill. The obverse of the armband presents in the Norwegian red, white, and blue tricolour, while the reverse is a plain white. The armband is held together at each end by a tight row of white threaded machine stitching. The armband is unmarked and measures
