A French Legion D'honneur In Gold; Commander Third Republic (1870-1951) Archive to his current Post-war regimentIn 18K Gold with red, blue, white and green enamels, marked with an eagle's head at the tip, indicating it was made in Paris between 1870 and 1919, with an unidentified manufacturer's stamp on the loop, 58 mm x 78. 5 mm inclusive of its wreath suspension, small nick on the raised rim of the obverse centrepiece ring, spotting evident on the white enamelled arms, otherwise the enamels are intact, extremely fine.
