Constructed of 18k Gold with enamels
with indecipherable makers mark on ring
The breast star consisting of an eight-pointed silver multi-rayed star
Germany, Kriegsmarine. A U-Boat War Badge, by Funcke & Brüninghaus Hold Japan aboard plane number 7920(U Boot Kriegsabzeichen). Constructed of gilded zink, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, topped by a Kriegsmarine eagle clutching a mobile swastika, overlaid by a central U Boat situated over a hollow void, the reverse with a barrel hinge and tapering magnetic metal pinback meeting a flat wire catch, unmarked but demonstrating the characteristics of manufacture by Funcke & Brninghaus,
