Constructed of a dark slate grey doeskin base, the obverse bearing a machine embroidered silver grey oval laurel and oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, overlaid by a diving golden yellow Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika, unmarked, measuring 50 mm (w) x 60 mm (h), demonstrating minor material fatigue, a rare and early Type I doeskin variant in uniform removed and better
