It's a Peruvian native species that's been said to grow best under cooler conditions but we've found it does well in our warm greenhouse as well

We've found it to be much more vigorous that either parent plant

When this cross was made in 2012

It also tolerates wet conditions quite well due to its ampullaria parentage and is able to thrive even being tray watered unlike most Nepenthes

It incorporates the robust pitcher shape of sibuyanensis with more abundant pitcher production and faster growth rate of ventricosa. It grows well under lowland and highland conditions.
