In silvered and gilt bronze, the pilots badge presents an eagle and a blue and bronze enamelled field displaying rays of sunlight, surrounded by a silvered wreath with a royal crown at 12 oclock, and red enamelled shield at 6 oclock with left facing rampant lion, reverse marked in cyrillic type with the Milosheva of Sofia maker mark and coded "3 23 89" on both the support plate and the screwback, measures 37. 6mm (w) x 55. 7mm
