Romania, Socialist Republic. A Rare Order for Sport Merit, I Class Badge Auction Bremen Hanseatic Cross 1914 (enameled)(Ordinul Meritul Sportiv clasa a I a). Constructed of 14K Gold with brass and multi coloured enamels, the obverse consisting of a red enameled medallion, overlaid by a Gold starburst with a blue enameled centrepiece bearing a gilt discus thrower, circumscribed by a gilt inscription of MERITUL SPORTIV (SPORT MERIT), all surrounded by a Gold laurel leaf wreath, joined together at the top by an enameled Romanian flag, the reverse showing a gilded bronze
