In 2006 a severe storm with tornado strength winds damaged the treasured Warehouse C, exposing a group of aging Bourbon barrels to the elements. While waiting for the roof and walls to be repaired, the exposed barrels developed an unmatched richness of flavors never tasted before. Dried fig and cloves, followed by baking spice and an oaky dryness
