Italy, Kingdom. An Order of the Crown of Italy, Grand Cross Set, by Cravanzola, c.1900 Auction with his "ankles and hands(Ordine della Corona dItalia). Instituted on February 20th, 1868. An Order of the Crown of Italy, the sash badge, in 18 K Gold, a white enamel cross with savoy knots in each quadrant, the obverse medallion featuring a Lombardy crown on a blue enamel field, the reverse medallion featuring a black enamel eagle, measures 50. 4 mm (w) x 53. 1 mm (h inclusive of suspension ring), weighs 14. 7 grams, worn on a full length sash, in extremely fine condition.
