He ceased to be Brigade Major of the 7th Canadian Training Brigade on attachment to the General Duty Battalion on November 7th and was also temporarily attached to the 7th Canadian Training Brigade on November 10th
He was posted to the Cruiser H
at the age of 62 and is buried in Arlington National Cemetery

Constructed of tan coloured cotton, trimmed with light brown piping, bearing two reinforced buttonholes, unmarked, measuring 45 mm (w) x 106 mm (l), in very fine condition.
