Constructed of gilded zink, the obverse consisting of a circular laurel wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, overlaid by a Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika while in mid flight, flanked on each side by nine oak leaves, the lower edge of the wreath with dual loops accommodating a pendant in the form of a plaque bearing a blackened number 1300 flanked by
