Romania, Republic. An Order Of The Star Of The People’s Republic, I Class With Case, C.1950 United Republic of Diagnosed with lung cancer(Ordinul Steaua Republicii Populare Romne). Instituted January 1948. Type I. In silver gilt, a five point red enamel star with a blue enamel border, superimposed on a five point star consisting of clusters of five smooth rays, the obverse center presenting the inscription 30 DECEMBRIE 1947 surrounded in a silver gilt wreath, the reverse bears a single pin and brooch style catch suspension with a single rivet, measures 51. 90mm (w) x 51. 51mm (h),
