Germany, Wehrmacht. A Heer Signals Em/Nco’s Overseas Cap Archive 1909 and signed in black(Wehrmacht Fernmeldetruppe Schiffchen). Constructed of field gray wool, with fold down side and back panels with gently sloping, downward scallops to the front, along with a single enameled rivet on either side of the cap for air circulation. The front of the cap features a machine embroidered, Wehrmacht eagle, constructed of grey machine embroidery in the shape of a national eagle with open wings clutching a wreathed mobile swastika.
