The Cte des Bar is overwhelmingly planted to Pinot Noir, but in 2000, Gautherot chose Chardonnay. He used mass selection cuttings from Anselme Selosses vines (in Avize) and Vincent Dauvissats Valmur Grand Cru vineyard. This
