In bronze with blue enamel in centre medallion, inclusive of crown 59. 8 mm (h) x 31. 3 mm (w), near mint condition. Footnote: The Infantry Regiment was instituted in 1881 for the protection of the Sacred Person of the Sovereign Emperor. The Guard Badge was established in July 1882.
