It features a 220 mm long magnetic steel blade with a sharpened tip, sharpened edges, and with fullers running the length of each side. The obverse ricasso is marked with a partially legible number of what appears to be 72. The blade sits securely within a curved bronze crossguard, stamped on the obverse with a mark of HG.
