Germany, Luftwaffe. A Glider Pilot’s Badge, Refurbished Example, by C.E. Juncker visually-hidden the rank is indecipherable(Segelflugzeugfhrer Abzeichen). Constructed of silvered zink, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by a mobile swastika, overlaid by a German national eagle in mid flight, the reverse with two visible rivets securing the eagle in position, with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch emanating from a circular plate, unmarked but demonstrating the characteristics of a mid to late war
