Having then been commissioned as a Pilot Officer and attended a refresher C
eventually to be absorbed into the 3rd Battalion Canadian Machine Gun Corps by early 1918 and continued to see service in France until the end of the war
this belt likely dates from the 1880's
the Battalion was absorbed into the 17th Reserve Battalion
