A Military Wound Badge, Type Ii Auction bronze star on its originalIn silver gilt with red enamels, "Sen'Sho" (wounded in battle) reverse, 31 mm (w) x 31 mm (h), dual prong pinback, crazing evident in the red enamels on the arms at 3 and 9 o'clock, scattered gilt wear, better than very fine. Footnote: The second type Wound Badge (Shoigunjinsho) was established on August 3, 1938. The class designations "Sen'Sho" and "Lo'Sho" were used to distinguish wounds suffered in battle versus wounds of a disability or non
