Russia, Soviet Union. An Order Of The Red Banner, Second Award, Type Iii consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac Gold-coloured copper and zinc alloy( ). Instituted in 1924. In silver gilt with red and white enamels, mint marked " " (Monetny Dvor) and number engraved "4810" on the reverse, measuring 37 mm (w) x 45 mm (h) inclusive of its integral ring, light soiled original ribbon, mounted to a five sided magnetic metal suspension with pinback, intact enamels, very light contact, traces of gilt remains, near extremely fine.
