Constructed of gilded feinzink, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath topped by a German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, with a central coastal artillery gun with its barrel raised and extending beyond the wreath, the reverse with a barrel hinge and banjo style pinback meeting a flat wire catch, designer marked OTTO PLACZEK, BERLIN, maker marked C. E. JUNCKER, BERLIN, measuring 41. 51
