A well preserved Luftwaffe Mechanics overseas cap, constructed of a dark slate grey drill cloth. It is fully surrounded by fold down side panels which slope down toward the front. Stitched onto the peak is an insignia consisting of a dark grey wool backer bearing a machine embroidered silver grey Luftwaffe eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, measuring 76 mm (w) x 46 mm (h).
