Germany, Wehrmacht. A General Assault Badge certificate_of_authenticity composed of the Croatian Coat(Allgemeines Sturmabzeichen). Constructed of silvered zink, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, around a Heer style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, above a crossed bayonet and stick grenade, the reverse with a ball hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, unmarked, measuring 42. 42 mm (w) x 53. 96 mm (h), weighing 27. 6 grams, with loss of finish evident throughout the obverse, in very fine condition.
