Initial skin contact was followed by 7 days of cool fermentation with our Rhône isolate yeast and hand-plunging three times daily

The cool High Eden site brings lovely expression to Shiraz with mulberry fruits and fine minerality cutting a beautiful svelte figure

The wine is fermented in 1 and 2 tonne open fermenters

Medium weight the palate shows good generosity with rich currant and ripe dark cherry flavours dominate over a back drop of vanillin cedar and light spicy tobacco characters

Brokenwood Pinot Gris 2025 a-mano purchased this vineyard and beganPinot Gris grapes can be quite coloured, even pink in some years; this wine is a lovely yellow green. The initial palate of ginger, pear and beeswax is carried by a zesty acidic backbone. Excellent fruit weight on the palate and not too high in alcohol at 12. 6%. A delightful Pinot Gris that just asks to be consumed.
