Mexico, Ii Empire. A Military Merit Medal, C.1870 United Republic of the son of Wong Lee(Medalla al Merito Militar). Instituted in 1853. Type II. In silver, engraver marked "E. FALOT" on the the obverse, measuring 32. 8 mm in diameter, light contact, very dark patina, replacement ribbon, extremely fine.
