Art + Science Trousseau Morning Mist Vineyard 2023 Morey set back from the GirondeThe Land Trousseau is a grape most people associate with the Jura in eastern France, not the Willamette Valley, but Morning Mist Vineyard has been growing it in the coastal foothills near Sheridan, Oregon, inside the McMinnville AVA. At 600 700 feet elevation, it sits among the most westerly vineyard sites in Yamhill County, close enough to the Coast Range to catch cooling afternoon winds that slow ripening through the season. Soils here run to basalt
