In bronze gilt, exhibiting exceptional detail, maker marked "JOHNSON MILANO" on the reverse, measuring 67. 5 mm (w) x 24. 5 mm (h), horizontal pinback, extremely fine. In its hardshelled case of issue, deep red fabric exterior, inside lid in deep red satin, padded and maker marked "1836 JOHNSON MILANO ROMA", medal bed in red felt and slotted, measuring 109 mm (w) x 60 mm (h) x 25 mm (d), case also extremely fine.
