Vintage Underdog "Skater" T-Shirt Political Prior to European occupation andUnderdog were a hardcore band from New York, NY founded in the mid 80s. The band consisted of singer Richie Birkenhead, also of Youth Of Today and Into Another, and bassist Russ Iglay with a rotating cast of guitarists and drummers. They formed out of the Numskulls, a short lived NYHC band with no recordings, but quickly morphed into their own unique aesthetic, pulling in all sorts of influences from skate punk to reggae. They released a 7" on New
