The “King” of Nepenthes crossed with the extremely wide peristome Nepenthes veitchii

The uppers are similar to the lowers but totally cream colored

There are a mix of 4 assorted clones which have at least 1 confirmed female

Kinabalu and other neighboring mountains within Kinabalu National Park in Sabah

Perhaps its the fact that glandulifera is so isolated in its habitat on Bukit Batu (to our knowledge Chien Lee has been the only intrepid soul brave enough to climb up the intimidating rock face where this species was discovered). We have found this plant to be incredibly vigorous under intermediate and highland conditions.
