In 18K Gold, a red enamelled Maltese cross with ball finials, the obverse features a bust of St. Gregory, surrounded by a ring inscribed S. GREGORIVS MAGNVS, reverse arms are not enamelled but show detailed cross hatching in Gold, the medallion features the inscription PRODEO ET PRINCIPE surrounded by a ring inscribed GREGORIUS XVI. P.
