Constructed of multiple pieces of blackened leather, consisting of a hollow shell featuring an alligator style textured finish, embroidered with a lid flap bearing a gilded bronze monogram of Kaiser Wilhelm topped by a royal crown, with three magnetic metal studs emanating from the bottom of the shell, with the central stud fastening to a leather strap stitched to the back of the shell for secure close, unmarked, measuring 12 cm (w)
