Instituted on 12 October 1671 by Christian V. Type IV. (1864 1906 Issue). Of high quality and in Gold, featuring an oblong Latin Cross with finely enamelled white arms with red borders, displaying detailed Gold royal crowns in each quadrant, obverse centre presents the royal cipher of Christian V, with the inscription GUD OG KONGEN (GOD AND THE KIND) on its arms, the reverse centre displays the crowned W, with the crowned F VI on
