Footnote: The regiment was designated the 1st Regiment, British Columbia Horse on December 1, 1911 and re designated the 30th Regiment, British Columbia Horse on April 15, 1912. It was mobilized on August 10, 1914 for local protective duties and contributed volunteers to the 5th Battalion, C. E. F., as well as
