A Wound Badge, Silver Grade certificate_of_authenticity French Dahomey Medal - SilverAn ovular badge constructed of silvered zinc, the obverse bears a Stahlhelm with a swastika on the side superimposed over two crossed upwards facing swords on a pebbled background encompassed by a laurel wreath tied with a ribbon in a bow at the bottom, the reverse is plain and marked L 55 100 and bears a vertical pinback with a flat wire catch, measuring 35. 90 mm (w) x 43. 70 mm (h), weighing 21. 6 grams, very fine.
