after she had witnessed a demonstration of the sport played on the polished ballroom floor of Scone Palace the previous year
at the Canadian Army Rehabilitation Wing
that she also rolled bandages for soldiers during the Second Riel Rebellion of 1885
bound with a 44 mm band of gold oak leaf lace along the top edge and a 20 mm wide black patent leather band housing a brass buckle at the reverse along the bottom edge
