The Menagerie at the Shrine Product:The Menagerie at the Shrine inspired by clusters of Wisteria"The Menagerie at the Shrine" is a painting the artist created following a trip to Japan. She paid homage to the Japanese Edo period of Japan using their cultural symbols of Geishas, kimonos, birds, and fish. It is done with oil paints on cradled birch panel using rubber tipped brushes (color shapers) to help create line, pattern, and texture.
