Ode to Davis A172305 and copperDynamic and exciting forms build upon one another to create new patterns on this lightweight vessel painted on a gourd. First dried and opened, the gourd's seeds are removed before the "canvas" is primed, lavished with acrylic paint, and finished with a protective matte varnish. The hard edge shapes are executed in bright, pure colors, giving the work a modern feel that reveals a different combination of patterns on each side. Display stand included.
